The picture of the new Doctor here fills me with every sort of horror imaginable. THE HAIR, OH GOD, THE HAIR. NOW I KNOW WHERE THE HAIR FROM THAT BLOKE IN TWILIGHT WENT.

You know. I was thinking he looked like the Twilight guy.

IT'S TWILIGHT GUY'S EMO ROCKER BROTHER FROM THE EARLY 80s.

WHUT? D: Young Doctor is too young.

I think he still has teen acne. THIS MAKES ME FEEL OLD. I DO NOT APPROVE.

Ditto. I think 30's-40's would be better. Not younger than me. Now when he swans about knowing everything, it will be really annoying.

Oh dear. Very. Bad. Hair. Indeed.

On the other hand, the new show runner sounds fab. I'm only a casual Who-viewer, but the eps they listed are some of the best ones, imo, so whatever I think of the new Doctor, I think I might be very happy with the overall direction of the show.

IT WILL TAKE ME A GOOD LONG WHILE TO GET PAST THE HAIR.

(I like some of Moffat's episodes a lot but I'm worried by some of the interviews I've seen. Oh, who am I kidding: I'd watch no matter what they stuck on my screen. It can't possibly be worse than the McCoy years.)

I really wish they'd chosen a black Doctor, like Patterson Joseph. Or *swoons* I Don't Know How to Spell His Name But Damn He's Hot C. Ejiofor.

Chewitel, or something. He's pretty badass for an actor. He played the Operative in the Firefly movie Serenity and he was also in Kinky Boots.

Join me in the group of the not impressed and the what's that baby doing playing the Doctor.

Someone pointed out that the Drs. have gotten younger and younger since the first one; it's sort of like Benjamin Button.

Well, I have to say that this is better than the first Doctor. He always seemed to be about to die after any strenuous exertion. Like standing up.

I KNOW, RIGHT?

Maybe the hair moves from host to host, seeking fresh territory everywhere it goes.

IT'S LIKE A PARTICULARLY DEMENTED KOREAN HORROR FILM.

I know! I hate to say it, but I'm "meh" about this casting. I was expecting someone dynamic, and just not seeing it.

I. just. can't. get. past. the. hair. Who saw that and thought it 'looking good there, Mr. Smith!'?

I hope he gets a hair cut. Better still, SHAVE HIS HEAD.

As the man has no eyebrows, you'd probably not see anything anymore. Invisible Doctor.

Well, they could paint them on or something. I guess. It might make him more alien looking. I bet he came really cheap.

I'm pretty "meh" too but the hair - the hair horrifies me.

Well, at least it can be fixed. Oh god, please let them fix it.

NEVER MIND THE HAIR, HAVE YOU SEEN HIS INTERVIEWS? It doesn't seem like there's much going on upstairs. I'm gonna miss David Tennant.

I have missed the interviews. I am not sure I could bear to see the hair in motion. It would make it terrifyingly real.
