DVDs of New Doctor Who (well, new to me who has never seen Eccleston) and Meteor Gardens arrived. OMG, so much love for both. Am barely coherent with the love.

(Though I have to say my subtitles for Meteor Gardens are very interesting. A really odd mix of someone who actually knows how to use the subjunctive and some really sophisticated words but then forgets the difference between she and he. It's like subtitles done by a schizophrenic.)

ETA: Also the hero of Meteor Gardens has the strangest hair and must surely dress in the dark because there is no way anyone would wear those clothes willingly, but there is much angst and cheese and it is all very good.

ETA 2: My pick of the most recent subtitling excesses include the line 'somebody stumbled me' and the scene where the heroine tells a professor she has to go to the bathroom (but more crudely) and he assures her he has stocked the loo with toilet paper, because I really hope that's not actually in the Chinese.
