Moonlight

I am only fifteen minutes into this and so far it is one of those shows where you just cringe for everyone involved, it's that awful. What. were. they. thinking?

Mostly I am wondering what book of cardboard characters they were using when they were 'writing' this show. And when was the last time Sophia Myles got to sleep.

ETA: And I want that professor's teaching gig. It looks super easy.

ETA 2: While I am usually very careful on the spoiler cutting of things I refuse to in this case because it's for your good (and besides this is the sort of show you can't spoil because it's so rubbish). The ENDING!!! With the world's most unsuitable droopy and romantic song playing over a scene of someone stabbing and setting fire to their ex-lover!!

OMG this show is SO BAD. Everyone's lines are SO LAME. And that guy from Veronica Mars sucked. And I wondered for a while if they were dubbing Sophia Myles!

It's so terrible that I can't quite look away, but I'm pretty sure it's only going to get three more episodes after this.

It's like Tarzan all over again. Except without a half-naked blond guy acting like an ape.

Sooo bad. I don't really blame anyone for being crap though as I don't know if you could overcome that writing.

I... just... How could ANYONE think this was good at all? At any point? Hollywood is such a mystery.

Well, remember it was Hollywood that thought that Cop Rock would be an excellent idea. Also, sad as it makes me to say this it is probably as 'good' as Kindred. A show which I own on DVD. Oh, the shame.

Ok, wait, what happened at the end? I passed out for a bit. Is Sophia his daughter/incestuous crush, or something??

Also, we should totally bet on the Cancellation Derby for this one. I pick: 4 episodes!

It's a bit creepy; she's a kid he rescued from his nutter vampire ex-lover (who clearly will pop back on these scene if the show last long enough) who wanted them to all become one happy family. There's a hilarious bit where he stabs her (the ex-lover not the kid) and sets her on fire while thoroughly inappropriate music plays.

I give it 4 as CBS probably can just jam CSI reruns in there if they don't have anything else.

Ok, yeah, I caught the tail end of the Evanescence song... and thought that only CBS could manage to make something WORSE than all of the lame emo kid fanvids set to Evanescence on YouTube...

Also, I thought that neither Sophia nor the vampire was particularly bright with the whole "there's a hole in your shirt! --Er, not really." bit.

The total IQ of every character in this show when totalled up probably amounts to be about 80. And that's being generous.

How can you mock that masterpiece, Tarzan? After all, as you yourself pointed out, it had a half-naked blond guy acting like an ape. I don't know about you, but I don't think Ican want more from a show :P
