I suck as an LJ friend; I've been too busy to keep up with all of you or comment. But I am hoping to be better from now on. Let me know of anything important I've missed.

In other news of me: Roswell's alien baby story sucks so far because all it is Max and Tess being annoying and all OMG OUR BABIEE SO ALIEN AND SO SPESHUL. I do like the Liz and Maria and Max substory, though. It's like dysfunctional alien Nancy Drew.

ETA: And, god, Tess and Max must have been the world's most boring couple in whatever alien planet they came from. It's all "oooohh, I remember the water and how loverly you looked' about 50 times over. Can't they access some interesting memories? It's like listening to Kenny G but in alien relationship form.

Life's going well for me. My parents are actually going to be arriving here in a few hours, so that's exciting, but it'll keep me really busy while they here. Yes, the students are still driving me crazy, but the school's pretty much over, and the last day of classes will be filled with playing Fruits Basket, so it's all good. :)

EVERYTIME they opened their mouths about their past relationship I grew ever more sympathetic to the people who had killed all their originals. It was just excruciating.

Even when Tess was evil she was annoying. She was the white bread without any peanut butter of evil. Just doughy, cheap white bread and nothing else.

It really is amazing how much I like De Ravin on Lost. Did she get lessons or something? Was it the writing?

It might have been a combo of things. Including that she was just a dreadful character and not at all an interesting foil. I am quite astonished that there are all these people out there who seem to believe that Tess is actually interesting. All she does is mope about the past and how they were OMG IN LUV.
