it's a fun futuristic war film.

I think part of my issues were that it felt like it didn't know it was basically Wolverine with killer robots. If the actors had let up a little with being Proper Thespians, it might have had more of a chance with being just good, rubbishy entertainment. But as it was, I got the horrible impression that they thought they were making The Road.
