I loved, loved this film. In fact, I just bought it from Amazon, despite the fact that Criterion should wear pirate hats given how much they charge. It's pretty much perfect - even Richard Gere, who is normally an actor I can't stand.

Though, I still think the locusts, while certainly appropriately biblical, are a perhaps a shade too much. Though those are some pretty amazing scenes as the corn burns.
