I love it so much; I'm up to the start of episode 5. It does look a bit dated (and the filming it on tape makes it look a little cheap or something) but the actors are wonderful and the writing is excellent enough to make me forget that. It does a lovely balance between comedy and tragedy in almost every scene.

Thanks for the link to your post. The problem with watching these things so long after they aired is that sometimes you have to squee on your own...
