And all I learned from the mad dog incident is that a wet dog will get instant sympathy from strangers, while the damp people who had to pull him out and who don't have fur coats to keep them warm as they shiver get no sympathy at all

And wakefulness at 1 am is typical when you have a 6 am wake up time followed by having to be semi-aware as you go through airport security.
