I think there needs to be a community on LJ for people who have missed crappy cultural phenomenons. You could go there when you've discovered something horrifying/entertaining/cracktastic that everyone else has tired of and find like minded late adopters of awful entertainment. It could be called 'still not good.'

The advantage would be that it might remove a smidge of the shame that one feels when you discover something awful but cracktastic and watch it through on your own without the comfort of communal madness to solace you.

This is an excellent idea. There's something to be said for shows that are dreadful/cheesy/embarrassing yet addictively watchable. They'll never start out great and then CRUSH YOUR VERY SOUL.
