So as the rest of the episodes aren't subtitled online and I was wondering whether I should get the DVDs (I really, really liked the heroine. And the main actor, though playing a character I would like to throw in a pit with man-eating lions, is quite good. And easy on the eyes) I went and read some episode descriptions of the final episodes.

WTF? AAARRGGH. Seriously, reading the actions of bastard-but-aware-and-mopey-about it hero (I shall call him MopeyBastard from now on) fills me with even more fury. Not to mention that wretched fiancee of his. It's not like she's actively mean, but it's almost worse in a way to be that rich and entitled and just grab people not even out of active malice but because you can. At least if she were actively evil she would see Eun Soo (the heroine, who is totally smashing and wonderful) as real person and the same for MopeyBastard. She could go off and cure lepers for the rest of her life and I would still think she's a self-entitled cow.

But anyway Eun Soo marries Not Quite Son of the Rich Old Guy. And it doesn't work out - mainly because of MopeyBastard. Oh, he may be all 'I hope you're happy' but it never crosses his mind to make things easy for her by getting out of the way like he should in return for all the times he stomped on her heart good.

WORST THING? None of them get really punished. Oh, MopeyBastard leaves Rich Girl Who is Not Actively Evil and Not Quite Son and Eun Soo split up (because, hey, he thinks of her and what would make her happy - the only person in the entire show who does including the annoying sick sister). I HATE THEM ALL EXCEPT HEROINE!!! I AM SORRY I AM SHOUTING BUT THIS IS HOW MUCH I HATE THEM ALL. But still in the last episode Not Quite Son, MopeyBastard and Rich Girl Who is Not Actively Evil get together for a drink two years after everyone split. And MopeyBastard goes looking for Eun Soo and finds her because apparently there's always time to do some more emotional damage to someone after they've said they never want to see you again. And after some pointless conversation he walks away all sad (because how would we know it's MopeyBastard without him probably ruining someone's day and then feeling bad about it) but she is waiting for him at his apartment.

In conclusion: SO MUCH HATE.

Strangely, though, I still think this is one of the better dramas. The characters are interesting even when they're at their worst. And the leads are really good actors. Also it looks great and is filmed cleverly and interestingly.

HOWEVER, I HATE THEM ALL. EXCEPT AWESOME HEROINE. I think the only thing that would have made me happy is if the heroine had run everyone over and then gone on to a completely happy life. Possibly with someone who looks like Daniel Henney.

I hear tonights Doctor Who was good and am now regretting that I was so good this year and decided to wait until it was shown on SciFi.
