I'm the same way about shows - I don't care about spoilers and always read everything I can before I watch. I don't like to be surprised when someone dies or it goes all sad.
The Full House guy does get better hair during the show but the first few episodes it's a bit horrifying. I think it's the influence of his evil wife.
