I can think of so many issues that would happen if 99% (and more) of the world died out over two days - disease, power plants exploding, feral animals and god knows what else - that I cannot fathom why they feel the need to invent problems that clearly would not be pressing. IF THERE IS ONLY .5% OF THE POPULATION LEFT YOU'RE NOT GOING TO RUN OUT OF TINNED FOOD AND VEGGIES FROM ALLOTMENTS IN TWO MONTHS.

And this was all I had to watch while house-sitting. You should have heard me shrieking at the TV.
