And regarding Heroes, I only have one thing to say: if I never hear another bad Irish accent I will be a happy woman. Jesus, how hard is it to hire Irish actors if the accent is so difficult? And why does Nathan have the beard of a wild wood man? It's like looking at a high Victorian portrait.

Yes! That may be the worst fake beard I've ever seen. I keep expecting to see elastic in the back of his head holding it on. :(

It's so astonishingly square and odd looking. Is it even the same colour as his hair?

My husband and I both yelled out "Jeremiah Crichton!" as soon as we saw the beard.

Even non-Irish people have no trouble telling how horrid those Irish accents were. It's embarrassing. Either hire actual Irish actors or give up and set that part of the action in California.

So that's where I've seen that beard before!

I just don't get the fecking terrible accents - it's not as if those actors were so amazing that you couldn't just get some random Irish actors to play the parts.
