(Though, in all fairness, given my rants recently about jargon I should say that all the abstracts I read were very easy to understand and some did sound rather fun. Well, the Snape on trial bit sounded fun. For those interested in the economics of fandom, I couldn't work out how much it cost to attend.)

Gosh, and here JK Rowling is like "Wow, really? That whole mirror thing was just some bullshit I came up with when I was drunk this one time."

Noooo! It's all about wombs, I tell you! And someone should write a crossover fic where Harry and his mirror meet Lee and his barrel. It would be very moving and meaningful and very post-modern.
