I have decided that every sentence is better with sirrah! in it. Why did people ever stop using such a valuable word? Also
caerbannog informed me of the best insult ever: malapert slut. I don't even know what this means and I want to use it all the time. Sadly, I am running out of vaguely historick insults and I shall have to start calling people caitiffs. I am pretty sure this refers to something dreadful, but possibly it is just the medieval name for the guy who reads the Matins. My historical education was sadly lacking in the ways to insult people department.
Last night I was reading this really boring book about Cicero and the author announced "and here Cicero tells us he is perverted" and I woke up with a jolt and thought that it was going to be really interesting. Sadly, it then transpired that all the author meant was that Cicero admitted he was too fond of Greek philosophy (not even Greek philosophers) and read it even when he should been doing ex-consul things in the Senate. *sigh*
Lastly, reading my flist is a bit terrifying these days. Everyone seems to have fallen into the cult of Moonlight. I keep seeing people shriek about its cheesy charms. Is this show sending subliminal crack through the screen? INQUIRING MINDS NEED TO KNOW, SIRRAH!
