Do you make icons? Do you like icons? Do you sometimes think to yourself when watching people snap at each other over colours and brushes that people take icons way too seriously? Do you boggle at some of the stuff that goes on in elite icon communities?

Then I have the community for you. Introducing elitismbegone, an elite icon making community with low, low standards. Actually we don't have standards, we just like icons. Marvel at the ease of applying for membership! Be amazed as you post your icons and see how bad mine are! Listen to people talk about spending two seconds on making their icon and talk about resizing as it were a technical feat! Watch me not know what a filter is!

If you make good icons you you can still join and be able to feel superior to the rubbish I produce or have somewhere to post those icons that just didn't work.

Our motto is: they're just tiny pictures, people.

ps. This is not a community to mock bad icons - there's enough of those around. Instead we are the true, the few, the elite. We are also shameless. Or at least, I am shameless and proud of it.

Farscape

Just got my first Farscape DVDs from netflix. I'm enjoying it even though the rotten order they are packaged in on the first season means that you have to jump episodes, which makes me a bit grumpy. So far the blue priestess is my favourite though Crichton is growing on me.

But why are the first season episodes not in order on the DVDs - why do they go from 1 to 7? It seems bonkers to me.
