On realising you are very, very stupid

So for months I've been seeing GitF'ace on various LJs.  I knew it was an abbreviation for the Doctor Who episode The Girl in the Fireplace.  But It has taken me MONTHS to realise that the 'ace' bit refers to the 'place' in 'fireplace'; I've been reading it as some sort of joke on 'gitface' since I first saw it, because David Tennant can sometimes look a bit ratty or weaselly. (Or even ottery, according to some). 

Obviously I am very stupid and am now feeling the shame that I did when I first realised that the site Olympia is not actually at the foot of Mount Olympus, but somewhere else.  

Back now to clearing out cupboard and wondering how I ever managed to accumulate 6 corkscrews.  I am chuffed that I found my cakeslice, though.  And a bottle of whiskey.
