I've just recalled to my somewhat befuddled mind that my due date for my article on Terence is surely looming (I'm too cowardly to find out exactly when it is) and that I really, really hate Terence. Cut-rate Roman dramatist with his tedious dreary plays.

I don't suppose I can use that as the basis of my argument. Probably not. Aarrgh...

And the moral here is: never agree to write something just because you want a free book.
