I'm a big Baz Luhrmann fan and a big Nicole Kidman fan, though, so I'm probably a bit biased. I mean, it's not my favorite movie of all time, or even of last year, and I can see why people wouldn't like it, but...IDK. It just worked for me, even with the cheese.
