Having been forced to listed to a choir singing 'Ding Dong, Merrily on High' (or however that song is punctuated) I feel what this season is lacking is a solid atheist songbook. I spent the day wondering what tune you could set 'God is Dead (For we have killed him)' to. Because nothing says Christmas like Nietzsche.

I have so far come up with the titles of a few songs, but alas have no lyrics:

'Hark! I hear the eggnog calling! (and it better have rum in it)'
'You do know it's all about shopping, don't you?'
'Gloria in vino mero' (vino mero = undiluted wine)
'O wondrous day of family rows'

"Amazon wishlist (the reason for the season)"
"O sleepless night of expensive toy assembly"
"Refill the Prozac (I'll be home for the holidays)"
"O come, all ye faithless"

Hee! And that one already has a tune as well.

'God is Dead (For we have killed him)'...
Because nothing says Christmas like Nietzsche.
