Man, it's a cornucopia of minor stars! Robert Beltran! That guy who was in Kindred as the cop! And other people! And it is funny to look at them deal with the beginnings of computers and viruses and such. I bet when I watched this I thought it was all so cutting edge instead of wondering why they fight each other for payphones.

ETA: WILLY THE NIGHTWATCHMAN OF THE DAILY PLANET! HOW COULD YOU TURN OUT TO BE EVIL????? And how could I have forgotten about the episode with the two Supermen? HOWWWWWWW??????

ETA 2: SHRIEKING MANPAIN. SUPERMAN'S SHRIEKING MANPAIN!!!! You know me - shrieking manpain is like delicious liquor to me. Like the nectar of the gods, but thankfully easier to find.

Oh man, Dean Cain is SO HOT in that, even burdened with those 90stastic pants. And it was good to see Teri Hatcher back when she ate food.

It does seem amazing to me that in another five years no child will understand what these phone booths are that seem integral to Superman's powers.

Man, I loved Lois and Clark so much back in the day. The Lois & Clark version of Martha and Jonathan Kent is still my favourite version of them. (Especially Martha! Doesn't she sew his costume for him in one of the very early eps?) I remember the quality dropping off badly later on, but the first couple of seasons were just plain fun, although it does seem weird now that they managed to do a version of Superman with comparatively little Lex Luthor in it.

She does make the costume! Complete with awesome montage of all the horrific ones that they reject. BEST MARTHA KENT EVER. I loved the two of them, though I do quite like Martha in Smallville as well.

The loss of Lex as a villian was noticeable in the second season (what I saw of it). There's something about a good super villian that can't be replaced.
