Irrational Hatred for Radio Personalities

I cannot stop myself: I just loathe Garrison Keillor.  The man has done nothing to me, but with the hatred I have for him and his smug gitty voice you would think he had not only burnt my house down but murdered my family and held a fiesta on their graves.  Two seconds of the music from A Prarie Home Companion and I clutch my head and start shrieking.

Sorry, I just had to share that.

ETA: Today I went to try and buy The Lymond Chronicles for travels but they only had volume III.  And they didn't have any of the other books I had culled from reading the flist.  But I did restrain myself from buying Of Human Bondage because I don't think that would qualify as light summer reading.

You have described to a T my feelings about This American Life. I choose to believe that you just made a typo when you spurned GK.

Ha! I love This American Life - at least with that you get a break from the host. But with this one, GK is always there, with the smug voice which just drives me bonkers.

I know it's not a rational reaction but I cannot get past it.
