Dracula community
Apr. 27th, 2006 09:53 pmHere's an interesting idea, a community reading Bram Stoker's Dracula letter by letter according to the dates on the letters. The community is here: http://community.livejournal.com/dracula1897/
Dracula is one of my favorite books, and this sounds like a great way to read the book. Why is it that they seem incapable of making a decent film of this book, which seems set up to be easily filmed? (Don't get me started on the Francis Ford Coppola version, with its breasts flying free and plenty and the added back story of Dracula and Mina Harker's one true love.)
Also, today I went to the chemists to get a prescription filled and it cost me $85. It's a tiny, tiny thing too. I am always astonished by the price of these things. At the cost they are they really should be made of the hair of one-legged virgins and ground together by wizened alchemists.
And random post to prove I watch more than Doctor Who: the new Office was sooo very good.
