Roar! The Best Show Ever!

And I haven't even seen it. But I am now the pround owner of all 13 episodes.
Listen to this description: "in the year 400 AD, only one man, Prince Conor, can unite the long-suffering Celtic clans against the seductively lethal Roman Queen Diana and her evil wizard, Longinus. As Conor attempts to harness the magical power of the land called "The Roar," he is assisted by a ragtag group of fighters."
And this wonder, starring Heath Ledger, was cancelled after only 8 episodes. What sort of bastards would do such a thing?
The only issue is that I also received Hana Yori Dango 2 in the post and now I have to choose between Conor fighting the evil Queen Diana and gorgeous Japanese boys angsting. What is a girl to do?
Meanwhile since coming back from holidays I have been catching up on Lost. I'm up to the Juliet episode (the one which aired 2 weeks ago, I think) and thorougly loathing her and her moronic stupidity.
Who on earth signs up with a dodgy bunch like this and then sits around thinking that everything will all work out? Come to think of it who decides it's an ethical thing to impregnate a woman just coming off chemo and then bugger off to do some research while she goes through the experience? And what the hell does she think is going on with the mothers? So basically, she conducts a bunch of deadly experiments and then tries to take the moral high ground with Sawyer and Sayid.
Though Jack is also annoying me with his dumbness. So...right you have a bunch of people who have tortured, kidnapped, and abused you and your pals and you
a) trust one of them
b) think that everyone else should just accept her
c) get all offended that everyone else is miffed at her
d) don't demand answers yourself because she also wants to get off the island.
How did Jack ever get through medical school with a brain like that. Why wouldn't you suspect that everything was a set-up, given all you've gone through before and seen what they can do? There's trusting people and there's terminal stupidity. Also part of the issues I have had with this season is that the Others always have the upper hand and it makes for very frustrating viewing.
Pah! I also am not that fond of the actress. There's far too much smirking.
