I will say is that the writing on Survivors makes me feel insufferably smug about my intelligence. It will also do the same for you. (I saw the cover of the original series. It involved a lot of unattractive people in sheepskin coats on horses. I hope they were brighter than this lot.)

Really, it's just awful isn't it.

And if I survived, I'd just follow that advise on the old poster from the 60's: "In case of nuclear attack, bend down, put your head between your knees, and kiss your ass goodbye."

This show is so deeply, profoundly dumb that it HURTS. Though luckily for the heroes only the dumb evil people also survived, otherwise they'd be totally screwed.*

In the event of such an event I'd go somewhere with the best booze and drugs I could find and have one great final blow-out.

*The annoying thing is that they have good actors and some good ideas but it's written with all the grace of steamroller hitting the side of a building and then exploding.
