OH MAN. I should be posting about Masada, but instead I am fixated by Amerika, which, er, I managed to obtain some of. It's like every tea-partiers wet dream. Americans don't own enough guns, not patriotic enough, etc, etc and THEN THE RUSSIANS AND THE UN SEND IN FORCES AND ROLL RIGHT OVER EVERYONE. When you google this you find all sorts of people going 'IT WILL HAPPEN. OBAMA IS JUST READY TO SEND IN THOSE HELICOPTERS AND SEND ALL GOOD AMERICANS TO CAMPS.' There's a lot of misery and Sam Neill. And Kris Kristofferson looking gnarly. Plus some non-speaking patriarch that out-gnarls everyone - which is hard when your competition is Kris Kristofferson.

OH AND EVERY FIVE MINUTES SOMEONE IS CONTRACTUALLY OBLIGATED TO SAY 'YOU LOST THE LAND! YOU LOST IT!'

And I think every American woman has slept with Kris Kristofferson. Which is terrifying.

Amerika? Is this some series that I never heard about? Sounds like another end of the world scenario and if women are sleeping with Old Kris (who probably DID sleep with every young woman in America), it ought to be the end of the world.

I love that it's not just the Russians but also the UN. It's like the UN finally got tired of the US's attitude and said, "Screw it; we're taking over now." I'm surprised tea partiers haven't brought it up yet, though it is possible that they have and I just haven't heard about it since I'm not fond of listening to political ramblings.

Unfortunately it's also 13 hours long. Most of which is people going on and on about how AMERICA LOST ITS PATRIOTISM. And talk about how amazing Kris K. is. I skip over those bits.
